Since i was about 8 or 9 i have been a big hiphop fan and have never looked back and that is thanks to Eminem since then it has changed drastically with the likes of drake and lil Wayne but any way who are your favourite rappers and why

Cardiff

Biggy Smalls

Jay z

Eminem

Why? Because I think the words are clever, it rhymes so (imo) is a form of poetry.

Yeah, I know poems don't have to rhyme

My list is

Tupac

eminem

immortal technique

biggie

and dr dre

and why Tupac was great man and a lyrical genius Eminem because he don't care what people think about him immortal technique for his political views biggie just because and dre he signed em and they are great together and with out him there would be no em or ice cube

Nas like his lyrics and flow when he is fully focussed on his music he is the best in my view.

I like lots of other artists but once it became about record sales rather than the music I lost interest. As I have said before during the early 90's if Drake and Lil Wayne were around they would have been serving refreshments rather than rapping.

nas is good but highly under rated and yes its all about record sales and who has the most money hiphop has lost all meaning and become so commercial thanks to the likes of jayz kanye west drake i could go on but cba they do have some good songs but they will never be in the same league

Apparently Jay Z once said the only rapper he wouldn't even attempt to freestyle battle with was Eminem.

For my own tastes I am a bit old skool.

Kurtis Blow

Run

DMC

Snoop

Ice Cube

Of the current bag of shit I quite like pisshead rapper Obie Trice.

Obi trice is is a great rapper and as for jayz battling Eminem it would be suicide look at what happens to ja rule no rapper/ real rapper would battle Eminem

Macklemore is good aswell.

Until the grammys 2014 I had no idea he was gay.

Got my full respect for having the guts to do what he does

Thats almost blasphemous….. "who is that?" famed for other things he did well, but he did the rap on the England World Cup song in 1990.
