After the Clash thread, and previous ones about Candy Crush and so on ...

How much do you spend on these "Free" games ?

Would you rather spend £10 on a game straight up with no in game fees ?

Or are you patient in these games or just have to spend 50p to get through a level ?

If I was into games in a big way id rather pay the money upfront and have full access to it than have to pay as I go along

I don't pay. If it's a game you need to pay to progress I'd delete it

Paying to clear a level is like cheating myself. I like to use my skill not my money

Bradford

I'm not a fan of these types of games. But saying that, I'm considering dropping a tenner on some cards for hearhstone lol.

I mostly play F2P games at the moment actually and personally I don't spend a penny.

My friends who I play with on the other hand...

I started playing one game with them and after talking about it for a while they said that they had spent at least £200 each in 6 months. One of them has probably spent at least £500 now on this game.

It's a good business model which is why so many companies are adopting it. I would spend a little I guess (also tempted by the £14 pack of Hearthstone cards) but never on a game like Candy Crush and I have little interest in those games anyway.
