How to stop google chrome opening in an app form on Windows 8 instead of how I prefer it to open up in the classic style? Many thanks from the ever hopeful and totally thick Minxie lol

Titz Towers, North Notts

I'd delete it and install internet explorer. Other than that, no

When I hit the chrome bit on the taskbar it automatically goes to the app version and then I have to do two other things before I get the home page ... its not right somewhere !!!

Download internet explore first.

Set up the shortcut on your desktop and or task bar.

Check it all works to your liking and then unintelligible chrome via your control panel.

Some of this has already been said, but this order is how I'd tackle it.

Good luck
