Travellodge/Premier inns

Just seen a profile, that says hotel meets, but no travelodge or lower standard hotels. Now with the greatest of respect, if we are meeting someone in a hotel for the first time we are not going to shell out for the Ritz. I have stayed in many a premier inn and travelodges for work in my time and the rooms are clean, the beds comfortable and the showers hot. After all you are going there to use it to have sex in not have a holiday. Nice hotels are for weekends away and holidays not for swingers meets...Would it put you off if someone said they had booked a travelodge/premier inn for your meet?

I've had lots of meets in travelodges and premier inns, they're perfectly good hotels and lets face it, just a room on neutral ground to have sex, why pay shed loads???!!

Don't mind either budget or luxury if I have the cash, but would never make it a pre-requisite for any meet. And seeing it explicitly stated on a profile wouldn't make me dismiss necessarily. I like seedy/budget hotels for a certain reason and luxury hotels for another.

Does seem a shame not to share a lovely room. That said if someone is hoping someone else will fund their lifestyle when they swing, good luck!

A Travelodge is perfectly functional - not a palace, but I've stayed at them man times.

I don't think that I'd want to meet anybody who felt that a Travelodge was beneath them.

I'd also feel an unacceptable sense of obligation if somebody had booked an expensive hotel (and they'd have to pay for it themselves!!!) - if I want to walk away for any reason then I don't want that added expense on my conscience!

Travel lodges are perfect with high quality beds, strikes me the people in question want a free luxury mini break

If one wants a romantic break away, go for the plush pad..........

For a night of debauchery with multiple partners, do you need more than 4 walls a roof and a bed?

A few years ago, I regularly met with a guy who always stayed at a Premier Inn. I called him "Mr Premier Inn" & they were some of the best meets I've ever had.

Not that I've anything against a plush hotel, but that's for my holidays !

Toilet, sink and shower are a good addition to the list.

Not a fan of Travelodge if i'm honest. Their beds have been too soft for me lol or maybe i just weigh a lot haha.

Premier inn is fab though. I do like nice hotels. And can usually get a really gorgeous room room for quite cheap.

A hotel's a hotel. Your still going to ruin the sheets at the end of the day.

So, anybody want to treat me to a weekend break? Hehe.

Travelodge's and Premier Inn's are great

I wouldn't meet someone if they booked a bunk bed at the YMCA though

Premier Inns have big, squashy beds and hot showers. Throw in a guy with stamina and charm, and you're laughing!

I stayed in an Ibis recently and yes there were certain aspects that clearly showed it was a budget hotel but it was actually very modern and perfectly clean and I thought the bed was very comfy!

No, that's pretty much what I'd expect. I'd be surprised by anything better.

As others have said, they are perfectly adequate for having sex in.

I think casual sexual liaisons probably make up a fair amount of their business

Premier Inn beds are very comfortable. Travelodge mattresses aren't supple enough but they do the job. If a man asks me what type of hotel I tell him the cheapest you can find with an en suite
