Was just watching Iron Chef and watching them chopping and realised my knivers - even tho decent ones were not up to scratch.

They bloody are now!!!

And what fun it was making em so.

So come on,

A sharp blade will give a clean cut whilst a blunt one will give a raggid cut and hence takes longer to heal.

A decent sharp knife makes the job of cutting/boning a lot easier.

The 6in cook's knife I bought over 20y ago, my first major kitchen purchase, is still with me today, and is in very good shape, and I love using it!
