I had two special mugs for my tea and coffee. Sadly one got a chip in it so I just use the other one. one was a present from my daughter when she went to Manchester Xmas market with her boyfriend so I look after it as I won't get another

A good example of the law of diminishing returns. Tea will always be at its best when made from loose leaves in a pot and taken from a cup. Sadly not often the time for this custom so a bag in mug will be quite adequate! No chance of bringing me one in bed?

I've got a pint mug for tea. It's brown, with a picture of a 1925 MG in British racing green on the front.

Earl grey tea bag, 4 sugars, 1 pint water and just showing it the milk - seems to make a very agreeable cup
