Do many swingers find hotel sleazy? I only ask because in my job I have to travel around the UK and spend many weekends at Food & Craft shows and sleep in either Premier Inns or Travelodges.

I always offer to chat first and even meet, the first night I'm there, for a drink (social) before anything else.... but everyone I ask either blocks or deletes me, so I'm beginning to think that people on here prefer to stick to their own and don't like sex with people from 100's of miles way???

hiding from cock pics.

It may not be the hotel thing, to be really honest, I just looked at your status and needed to look no further.

If someone I liked was in a local hotel then game on, I don't see it as a problem in itself.

I don't mind hotel meets and certainly don't think they're sleazy. What I would find annoying though is someone mailing me just because they're in the area on business and in a hotel. Id rather someone wants to meet me for who I am and not because they think I'm the local tourist attraction!

I think people are being a bit harsh here

im from liverpool and only do searches for a 30 miles radius around where I live.

So I would barely ever see or look at profiles at people living in london for example.

If I worked away a lot though in various towns around country from week to week, staying in hotels, then ofcourse hes going to start doing searches for people in that area.

I dont think its about him seeing anyone as a local tourist attraction, hes on a swingers site And he wants to meet like minded people for some naughty casual mutual fun.

if he was to attend a club in the area he was working at, people wouldnt say no sorry your not from around here and I dont want to be just a tourist attraction.

if a really stunning girl messaged me from down south and said shes coming to liverpool on the weekend would I be interested in meeting up at her hotel.

I really wouldn't see an issue with it personaly.

I like hotel meets. And i'm not trying to give a male perspective. I usually like to book a nice hotel and those who i'd meet in the hotel would be someone i've gotten to know. Wouldn't book a hotel for someone on a whim or last minute.

...not worth it for me.

Speaking from experience of living in a seaside resort, men don't usually mail beforehand. Mailing me at 6pm after checking into a hotel and asking for a meet that night does make me feel like a tourist attraction.

If you're in an area on business, surely you know before you check into the hotel which area you'll be in?

Thanks for the feedback people....I will admit I've been here a while now and I never know how to write a good profile, as for my status I say things randomly, my status changes every few hours or sometimes I leave it blank. Whilst some of your posts seem a little harsh and a 'dig' at me, I'm man enough to ignore it an laugh it off at your expense! lol..muppets

As for some of you saying that I'm asking for meets 'now'...well, I'm not, I'm contacting people who I feel I could get on with, well in advance of my week/weekend away, I like to get to know people. I never have and never will meet someone the same night whether its home or away!!

Who do you think has bad mouthed you?

As far as I can see most people have commented on how they feel about meeting people just in the area for business, which is what you asked.Very few people referred to you at all and those that did made fair observations, not person comments.

You asked for advice and you got honest feedback.

I just felt as if some of you were gearing up for it. Forums can sometimes attract aggression, if one starts then many feel its 'fun' to join in.

I never directly said that at anyone either.

Anyway this is going off topic, but it doesn't matter. I think a new profile and some newe pics will be a good thing

While ive had a few im in your area tonight messages which I take no notice of ive also had some that have given notice that they'll be staying nearby,if I had fancied them and got on well we'd have met for at least a drink,I very rarely play locally it would be a nice change to just meet down the road

Similarly if we're going somewhere for the weekend ill change my postcode on my profile to where we're going and have a good look around to see what the local talent is like

I don't think this thread is aggressive at all. You asked a question and you got responses, many of them agreeing with my post. I wasn't aiming that AT you as we've never spoken. I made a general comment as it's something I've experienced quite a bit living in a seaside / Holliday resort.

Not sure I understand the logic here. If someone does want to meet you for who you are, it's much easier to do if they're actually in the area.

Would you prefer they waited till they were 100s of miles away to contact you?

I don't think that hotel settings are considered sleazy at all... In fact most people consider than a safer way to meet. Maybe it's your approach? I'm not sure. I had someone visit from the UK here on business contact me for a meet and wasn't offended because his approach was just right. Everyone's different...

I agree. I like to chat a bit first and get to know sumone a little. If alot of ppl actually thought ahead and done this, then they'd probably get more meets in hotels. Then cld plan in advance but they dont.
