notts

seems they're switching their email off from 14th april unless you are a BT broadband customer, this means you lose all your saved important mail, lose your contacts etc etc.

so, you either change your email provider and transfer everything over, or keep your BT mail and pay them £1.60 a month.

had my bt email address for about 10 years and this could cause me many problems with the time frame involved of moving everything and getting people who know my email (and some not on my contacts) informed.

so my question is, do i change everything/everyone, or do i cough up £1.60 a month?? i know its not alot of money, i'm just a tightwad lol

what would you do?

Yahoo have been shit so I'm glad they are moving.

I actually paid, well, I had to pay as my account was compromised (like many accounts were which is one of the reasons they are ditching Yahoo) so I had to pay to get it back.

I will be migrating sooner or later. It used to be a decent servers but over the last few years its become a PITA.

I would switch. You have a 5 week time frame. How much time do you need?

We were with bt for 11 years including these email service, we cancelled with them 2 years ago, and have had 4 of these emails since leaving, the last one told us we would lose all email in October last year, but yet here we are still with bt email,
