Is it just larger people who snore ?

Men ? Women ?

How can you stop snoring ? Except kick them ha ha ha

You know the malteser advert where they try to make maltesers hover by blowing them? I do this with 2wheels when he snores with bits of fluff...

You should hear him cough and splutter when he inhales a bit too much!!!

I snore badly wether I'm a size 10 or 16, so much so that I carry ear plugs on overnight meets.

I've just had the ok for an operation to remove my tonsils which my surgeon tells me will reduce the snoring by at least 95%

But for me it's been and is embarrassing and at times very stressful, having to confess that I snore to a man is sole destroying.

I used to snore really bad but its sorted now although id not recommend my cure I broke my nose in 3 places an my skull after the ops to sort that little mess out hey presto no more snoring an even stranger I stopped getting browses down my right side

Ive shared with snorers, and sleeping position affects it. The best solution is for them to sleep elsewhere, until sex is needed or my feet need warning up or a cuppa is due. Anyone tried those nasal strips? Did think about keeping some in, and prescribing them to a partner. Otherwise, duct tape may be a cheaper option.

As a kid I snored and sounded like a freight train...I've always had problems with my ears and throat...my ears are so bad that they believe I will go deaf....I had my tonsils removed and andenoids taken out....I still snore though when d*unk or tired...

I've no idea if she snores as I'm normally asleep before her. I go to sleep as soon as the lights go out.

I really hope it works for you. I had my uvula (the dangly bit at the back of your throat) removed a few years ago for that very reason. It was like swallowing razor blades for 10 days. And for a while it seemed to have worked. No longer - back to square one. I stopped getting worked up about it. The only thing that would completely cure it would be decapitation. And that seems a tad OTT.

Something a little more drastic, is to get a tracheostomy performed. Perhaps not for the faint hearted. There are also 'chin straps' that apparently keep mouths closed, and help retrain the internal bits, according to a google search. Some rope might achieve the same, for lower cost.

The one I've got is smart alarm and I found it easy to use after playing aroundd with it for a bit. I like the music to send you to sleep with bit on it as well.

I snore and always have done....very loudly so its not about how much you weigh. I also have obstructive sleep apnea ( stop breathing) I have big tonsils too and my bottom jaw is too far back. A few years ago I had all the tests and tried the mouth shield but didnt work, they wanted to dislocate my jaw and set it more forward which "hopefully" would stop it, I said no!
