How would you describe yourself

How would you describe yourself in general. Are you modern, hip and trendy. Classic, old fashioned or middle or the road.

Have to say i am quite old fashioned, i have old fashioned values, im not up on modern technology i dont own an ipod. Once i own something i wont change it for an uptodate model until it has worn out. I still only have 4 television channels and most of the time i listen to country or old music.

I do know whats going of with the young though (some of the time) and i am well aware that things are not how they used to be and i try to adapt to change.

Now some who know me will think this is a complete contradictory to how i am, especially having my nose and tongue pierced this week but deep down im just an old fashioned girl.

ooooooh think id describe myself as funky old fashioned, whilst i have firm beliefs about male/female roles in todays society, i still love to let my hair down and my inner child just screams to be let out, schizophrenic funky chick pmsl xxxxxx

I think im a mix of all of those things.....I like all sorts of modern and older things... Im not a slave to fashion, music or technology and have things, wear clothes or listen to music because I like it and not because I need to show the world im in fashion if that makes sense....too much emphasis is put on what material worth you have these days and not what sort of person you are

As for values I was brought up to respect people and to take care of what we had and im the same with my children

Well apart from bieng slightly bonkers and sometimes a warped sense of humour (i call it wicked);)

i have to say im into

old fashioned values and manners

cant beat them really,

My parents taught me to respect my elders,(parents) respect myself and respect the planet we live on.

I have always described myself as an "introverted extrovert"... when people don't know me i can be really shy (no sniggering at the back!!!) but once people get to know me the loud part of me comes out...

age is just numbers ... we do festivals ..go mountain biking .. snowboard .. martiial arts drink like pub is running dry ... watch spongebob and laugh ...,....and still find time to put clingfilm over toilet seat have fun ... thats what we on here for xx

I believe everyone is shy in there own way to a degree x some ppl need time to be able to know others n trust b4 they can let go x k I'm very open although can be shy aswell at times k yeah right hehehe no seriously I am x love life x getting to know ppl x making new friends x would like to meet everyone that's me x I can talk for Scotland LOL x darn these questions always catch me hehe just pm if you wanna know LOL tgc everyone mwah xxx

Think were more modern.. could hardly say funky but were up to date with whats happening with both younger and older.. Love techi stuff, iphone ipods gadgets lappies, leather and wood etc.. Like the up to date stuff.. but hardly think its essential.

At the same time though we love the older fashioned attutudes to life.. family values etc.. Pay what you owe, work for what you have.. look after people and things and they in turn will care for you kinda thing.. along with respect for elders.. and give and take.

Not so hard to balance things really.
