Do you go in and make a pig of yourself? Or do you eat the same amount you usually would in a normal Restaurant?

I made a right pig of myself in Jimmy Spicers. The food is amazing

I love the Chinese 'all you can eat' buffets. Have to say, I do make a pig of myself there, but never leave any waste.

Used to love the concept and did indulge lots but now I detest them with a passion. Will never use one again.

The land of grey peas and bacon

I'm not keen on all you can eat places...The food is sitting around in vats....it just makes me uneasy with so many people around the food...I've been to one that was lovely but I've been to a few ones...

did the mistake of being a pig on my first visit to an all you can eat and never again! I felt so sick and couldn't move for hours! Take my time and just eat small portions and know when to stop!

Putting the 'cum' in Eboracum

No decent ones in York, although they have a lovely one in Leeds. If there is enough variety I'm like a kid in a sweet shop, else I get bored of the food quickly.

It mainly down to the poor quality of the food and realising I could prepare a lot of their fayre myself cheaper and tastier.

As much as id like to make a real pig of myself I can only eat what id normally eat anyway, although that does'nt stop me getting excited about the thought of going up to fill my plate numerous times

It's just a gimmick where people think they're getting a bargain but in reality you can only eat what your stomach can hold. Most people pile up their plates, then are too full to go back for more.

We are not great lovers of all you can eat venues, as we much prefer a place where you can sit an enjoy your food without having the feeling of the need to over indulge and having to watch ppl handle food and then put it back without a 2nd thought for others, same applies at birthday or other celebration functions, where the food as been lying on tables all day until.

They're a great way to be able to have a bit of everything!

My favourite ones are the Indian in the old railway station at Rotherham, the Chinese at Picadilly in Manchester and one in Prague which at £3.50 was incredible value, especially since that included a soft drink!!!

We made the mistake of going to an all you could eat buffet in Manchester China town. Rank. Deep fried cheap crap, cold sloppy glutinous curry's and revolting desserts. Minging.

I've only been to two but I eat the same amount as I would at any restaurant.

If I gorge on food then I get pains in my stomach and I want to go to the loo. I wouldn't go to the loo in public toilets so I just wouldn't risk overeating to the uncomfortable stage.

Im more of a little and often kind of person anyway

Central

I eat Sunday roasts on a side plate, as I have feeling stuffed. Ive done those all you can eat meals, but wont be going back, as I feel a need to pick and mix, and it is never a good feeling. So Id eat more than a standard meal portion, so not for me.

Ive only been to one of these and that was in turkey and to be honest....it was a sheer waste of time for me. It was a tenner and you can eat what you like and as much as you like....I had one dish of veg and rice and i was full.....while those with me was up and down all night. I just sat and drank while watching them stuff themselves. Never again I was tipsy and they were stuffed
