Ok tomorrow is the start of Lent !!

I am hand on heart having the last supper tonight as I am giving up "Bread and Wine" BUT to introduce Karma on the subject I am going to walk/power walk 5 miles very day for the next 40 days that's 200 miles.

Now out of that my fab friends "What do you think will be the hardest for me to do??"....... Ruby

I would say the wine ( I'm not being rude ) as you've said that your giving up the wine a few times lol

Walking is good for you, does wonders for your inner being and your bum and thighs

So what do you think will be the hardest thing for you to give up ?

Bread... No problem... Plenty of other carbs...

Wine... No problem... You didn't say all alcohol....

Walking the next forty days... In All weather's... Good luck with that one...Xxx

Actually Bread is going to be the hardest of all, because i don't eat the way i should it's so easy to make a sandwich than it is to cook.

As for the wine well i used to think i needed it because of the sort of relationship that i was in, now that has all changed and it is making me ill that's why i chose that to get rid and start looking after myself a little better.

And at 7.30 this morning i went and did my first 5 miles...... Pat on the back for me !!

Well done. I can understand what you mean about bread. I've given it up till after my event in May. I would say though that Power Walking every day is hard. I'm training for a PW marathon and the plan suggests walking every other day with stretching or swimming in between. Obviously you could be very fit and 5 miles a day is nothing Good luck

Just to play devils advocate and I apologise to any deeply religious people. Back in the days of the bible they didn't have a word for many so they would say 40 days and 40 nights which basically meant many days and nights x
