webcam verifications

So if you don't show your verifications on your profile, then one who has only webcam veri's can appear as 'legit' as one who has met in person.

Reading between the lines, this can make people appear to be likely to meet when it's unlikely they will.

Anyone think there is a case to abolish webcam veri's as a 5 minute cam close up of somebody masturbating, does not, to me, constitute an actual verification.

Thoughts?

Verifications are just part of the story when it comes to checking someone out for a meet, for me anyway.

I've always seen them as pointless.

But then I've also been able to ignore them and focus on meet veri's.

Personal choice. To some they are important - to others they jean nothing.

The verification summary does deal with this slightly as it breaks it down, however if the person has chosen not to display the summary then back to square one

I think webcam ones allow people to show what they wish. I could appear on cam in my clothes, wave at someone, get the verification hide it and then take a load of pics with a length of pipe down my leg and claim I'm verified and have a 12 incher....

I use webcam veris just to prove the photos of their face and body are indeed of them, doesn't mean they will turn up.

But meet in person veris aren't always accurate either.

And if anyone is daft enough to believe that without using other verification tools at their disposal then you'd probably not even need to veri to con them.

Webcam verifications are a complete waste of time and should not be allowed to be used as as legitimate form of identity .

Anyone could be on cam , and when the summary is hidden , one could be hoodwinked into thinking it is the person .

Webcam veries are a waste of space, and "camming" can be faked quite easily.

This type of veri should have been binned before the phone veri.

Just a thought.....

Is there anyway the site owners could make the veri ticks different colours to suit which veri's ppl are left?? Maybe red for cam and green for meeting?? We could see by just looking at profiles whether ppl have genuinely met or not!!!

A webcam veri or a meet veri only prove one thing they are a person/persons and they are who they say they are i.e. not a male pretending to be a woman or couple. They are only a tool as any veri can be faked, even meet verified people can and do not turn up always trust your instincts and get to chat to people for awhile first ( it tends to out the timewasters and the ones that leave after a week)
