Do you think guys hold back from verifying as a tactical move?

To prevent more meets etc

I only verify if they ask. If not, I probably wouldnt bother. Lazy lol

I just think a lot can't be arsed or don't really know what to put in a veri in case they say something wrong! I'm in the habit of verifying now, but have met a few guys that have never left them

Interesting enough, I was lucky enough to attend a social a couple of weeks ago and got a few veris from it. I veried someone and they didn't veri me back. I don't know why, it was only a social. People are strange....

As a single fem with veris coming out of my wazoo I don't need them, but enjoy reading and reminiscing...I usually ask if a guy wants a veri, or if it's forumites I'll throw veris about with gay abandon (although at big socials I usually miss one or two accidentally). I most often get them back but it's no big deal if I don't get one (apart from the anthrax infected hate mail I then send them for daring to not say how amazing I am)

How does not verifying keep you only unto him? I don't ask for them. I give them. I've taken the Caz line and display them all.

If I verify someone I expect one in return but I have so many, mostly from social meets, that I usually ask a meet if they want one. It is nice to have them & it is nice to reminisce, I much prefer a veri with some humour to it as well x

It's not compulsory to leave a verification every time you meet someone. Personally, I prefer not to have an online record of every single person I've met.

If you really want one from the guy, just ask him. He probably won't refuse; and even if he does, that's his right.
