Postage increase

Have you seen that the postage is to increase again at the end of this month?

12s 4d for '1st' class letter and 10s 6d for second class letter...18s 6d for a large letter!

I'm posting my crimbo cards now...

...... or you could just buy the stamps now (not that I'd encourage anyone to send Christmas cards).

I bought a load of stamps before the last increase... Who want to pay 10s for a second class stamp ffs?

I tried to deliver my brothers birthday card in Aberdeen rather than pay for a stamp. Cost me £70 in diesel. Turns out I couldn't do it cheaper than the royal mail.
