It's funny how over the years that the reputation of women have changed....that it was to be improper to be be with a man out of wedlock....that it was improper that a male should lodge with a un married woman...it's funny how things change...

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

My mother called my grandmother in Texas to speak to me about living in sin with my first boyfriend. She also called the vicar to arrange marriage under special license within a week after my father caught we in bed with that boyfriend.

I haven't really lived down that reputation with her.

It is funny how things change watched two good films, the white ribbon, a german film with subtitles and scum, which i had seen before.

people do still talk about you though if you live in a village its different if you live in a city.

when i got pregnant at 18 my gran didnt like it, she said to my sister i should have an abortion or have it adopted.

years later i found out that she was pregnant before she got married when she was 18.
