It's a popular misconception that men's loos are filthier than the ladies. However as a former pub and restaurant manager you would be surprised that the ladies toilets were nasty. The cleaners were always surprised what they found in there.

I've seen loads of men have a piss the go out without washing their hands, I even saw a guy shake his hand cos he got piss on them, then he went back to the restaraunt and ate food, without washing his hands, some food he ate with his hands and, this is true, fed some to his female partner. I think she got more than she bargained for. Grim.

You have a point there that you can actually expand on...

Let's be honest, at least 50% of guys do not wash their hands after taking a leak. If they are so lacking in hygiene with their hands - imagine what is going on down below in respect of hygiene...
