we all have a physical type that we like I suppose but what I find more off putting than anything in a person is someone who isn't happy with the body they have or who looks at my body and wishes it was different in some small way or adhered to a template that they have in mind.

There's 2 different gaps being discussed here I think. One is the 'toblerone' shaped space right at the top of your legs and the 'thigh gap' is what was in the news last year which is when you stand with your legs together you actually have a gap between your thighs from the hop to your knees, I believe that they said that some woman were practically starving themselves to try and achieve one when in reality wether you are likely to have one have one or not depends on your hip position etc.

I'm pretty sure it has more to do with muscle tone and shaping than hip alignment.

im really not following this thread ...so there are actually 2 different gaps and one you have to starve yourself to get and the other you need the ' right hips'

Nothing at all to do with starving yourself. A number if curvy women due to shape can have a gap.
