dignity at work course

After posting on a recent thread I'm very supprised that few people have done this. I work for a very backward company when it comes to any sort of training but this is one course everyone has had to attend.

Am I the only one that has though?

I would think it may also depend on the industry sector you work in.

Looks like I'm the only one then very odd for an employer that hates spending money on training

Putting the 'cum' in Eboracum

What on earth is Dignity at Work? Not getting pissed at lunchtime? Being nice to others? Is this something that needs to be taught?

Dignity in the Workplace is a standard training package that is usually rolled out annually in a lot of the big companies.

It's a bit more complicated than that, it covers discrimination, bullying and harassment also behaviour that others may take offence to.

Civil Service calls that Equality and Diversity. We have to do it every year.

It's another crop of "thou shalt not" from the "we got feck all else to do so let's go stick ournoses in oother people's lives" brigade...

It's killing the balance of office personnel interactions.... We call it Dignitas at Work...

"Got to be honest it has killed of a lot of banter in my workplace"

Nah... I was flantering with a manager of another department... She and I have a long standing working relationship...

One of the HR weevils stuck his Dignity nose into our private conversation, and was politely invited to " F*ck the F*ck off and keep your F*cking nose the F*ck out of my F*cking business"

Not seen him since, and no-one has said anything to the manager...
