The land of grey peas and bacon

So I was getting dinner and I thought I'd take a mooch at the reduced meat stuff...anyway there was 250g of lean mince reduced to 99p so I thought ohh I'll pick up a packet of that and put it in the freezer...now I'm a bit of a nice shopper when it comes to the reduced section I tend to buy what I need rather then load my basket with 10 packets because it'd on offer...any how a woman comes along and empties the shelf of mince and put it in her trolley....all I thought was you greedy fucker someone less fortunate could use that...before anyone say how do you know she was less fortunate...she was suited and booted etc...it just really annoys me when people are greedy for the sake of being greedy....I think I'm just weird lol

First come first serve, maybe the store shouldn't put it all on the shelf in one go. My Aunt was telling me about her local Morrisons has a certain time when the Women wait for the reduced fruit to come out like a pack of vultures, the poor worker bringing it out always gets a shove for his troubles as well.

near the sounds of the wimborne quarter jack!

This was discussed on Jeremy Vine (Radio 2) recently after comments from an MP about how all of the people on benefits are reduced to scrambling for reduced items because they haven`t got any money. They were soon put right on that! I saw two ladies of Asian origin going through the checkout on night with two deep trollies full up with reduced salad items. The gross amount was £26 Guess salad was on the local Indian for the next Day!

One woman on the radio spotted a loaf of bread reduced to 5p and thought "that`ll do me!". She was spoken to buy another lady nearby who was most upset at the first woman`s actions because she was "waiting for the price to be reduced to 1p!"

I was in tesco the last Sunday and there was loads on the reduced shelf, I took a couple of items I could use, then watched two Eastern European women take everything off the shelf into one trolley and sort it into the other trolley putting back the things they didn't want!

Still think the worst people in supermarkets are those who are at the back of a queue for a checkout and as soon as another checkout opens they rush right to the front!

Times are tough. Because someone wears a suit doesn't mean they are well off. You can pay about £4 now for 500g mince, so if she has a family, that can do a few meals for a few weeks.

I do understand this ...

She may have a large family - but there are others who would and could use it too

Take some - not all ...

Newcastle-under-Lyme

Nothing wrong with getting a bargain. Last time I was in the supermarket, curry sauce and Chinese sauces were both on offer so I got about 10 of each. I think the checkout lady thought I ran a takeaway

Central

People who do not hold doors for others behind them, smoke publicly puffing their smoke onto others, and grab all they can, when they could share good priced stuff are lacking in social graces and have poor etiquette standards. Usually a glance at their faces shows the revealing lack of a good heart and moral fibre. This is not those who are desperate and really down on their luck, which is very different.

Lol go to Tesco here when they put the reduced out.

You normally have about 15 people already waiting for it.

One week as a laugh they snuck the reduced out and put it at the front of store. As soon as the usuals realised, it was like a buffalo stampede through the store lol.
