Just seen an advert for Richmond cheap skanky no meat all bums and lips sausages.

I tend to like a nice sausage made by the local butcher. Nice and meaty and full of taste. Can't beat a spicy chorizo sausage either.

So what type of sausage floats your boat?

West Yorkshire

I've been getting these 98% actual meat chipolatas from sainsburys, they're lovely. I'm really picky and squeamish about sausages

I like dirt sausages at Times, they have their place lol

Sometimes the high meat ones are too dense for my liking.

Always buy sausages that say what meat they contain in the title e.g. Pork sausages. They then legally have to contain a minimum amount of that product. If it doesn't say anything in the title they can contain any old shite

You should check out a Norfolk sausage company (as well as other meat stuff) called perfick pork ... They're very tasty.

Not a fan of sausages tbh but if I was to choose it would be sainbury's chipolata

Just heard this the other day funnily enough in Victorian times sausages were called. Bags o' Mystery

They still are if you ask me

My local butcher's snarlers but definitely grilled & not fried, - it brings out its own flavour, rather than taking on the flavour of the oil/fat that you fry it in.

Never baked them, though; I must try that!!

Mine and mine only...... I have taught royalty to make sausages (Devon county show 2 years ago) and have won awards even though I'm retrained as a plumber (50% share of own business) and have worked as a fireman for the last 16 months my early years from 16 -25 were certainly not wasted working as a butcher
