Is it better to be subtle or blunt with saying what you want?

Honest but tactful.

I might even manage it one day.

I prefer the middle ground, honesty with tact. Some people don't get subtlty and bluntness can be insensitive.

It's nice to be subtle but sometimes you just have to be blunt.

I would say blunt or straight to the point but done politely, nothing worse than trying to decipher hints in a sexually charged situation lol

I have to say I'm blunt, I would rather speak my mind.

Talking around the houses, is a language I will never understand lol

Ahh, that sort of subtle or blunt. Sorry, I misunderstood.

Just say it. I have yet to meet anyone psychic.

When you try to be subtle with some people they are just like the 'b', they can't hear you.

If you are both on the same wavelength then subtle is good for me...

Depends on the 'reason'

If you're turning someone down or delivering bad news - subtle often wins over blunt - although blunt may be necessary in some cases.

If you're giving good news or trying to make the point that you're interested - blunt over subtle. Else they may think the worst!

I prefer to be subtle rather than blunt. No point hurting someone's feelings unless it is unavoidable.

And yes, we are talking leopard print here.
