A question .... If u verifi someone after a meet , at a later date decide u won't be meeting again/ or they haven't returned the veri and feel you've been hasty ! Can u retract the verification !?

No. A veri is to show, at it's most basic function, that the person you met is real.

I don't think you can, only way to take it off is to block said person, that way your veri won't show on their profile.

The only way to remove it, is to block them.

Any veri will show as a green tick even if they are UNLOS, the text will disappear though

So you have a meet, all is well, you verify them as genuine... but then because you don't want to meet again or they don't verify you back, you want to remove the very.....

It is irritating when you go to the trouble of leaving a verification and they don't reciprocate, but I think removing it is a bit strong.

Can't you just do what the rest of us do? - get a Voodoo Houngan to put a curse on them that results in them treading on bits of upturned lego, even if they are out in a club

I agree. Of the people who dont return veri's, there are those who don't bother with them at all, and dont display them on their own profile, which I suppose is honest enough and I can accept that, even if I don't like it. Then there's the other type who happily display your veri for all to see, but cant be arsed doing even a polite one back, which has happened lots of times for me. Sometimes people do forget, and if nothing turns up after a week or so I give them a hint, like 'hope you liked the veri I left for you', but if that doesn't work then I let it drop, as its not worth the hassle. IMHO, people who arent considerate of such a simple acknowlegment quite often are inconsiderate in other ways too.
