Vitamin D

So have been feeling REALY poo for the last month . To day I went in to town and used the tan can ( sun bed ) . I feel a bit happyer I have never really beleaved in this SAD thing but I am now thinking there maybe some thing to it . So my question is does any one elas feel this way ?

What do you mean you haven't believed in it? It's not like ghosts or herbal remedies or homeopathy, you can get tested so you know your vitamin d levels, if they're low then supplement.

I (Amy) suffer from it pretty badly. Get very tired, agitated, depressed and sick in the cold months and it can be exhausting!

I do have a light box but it doesn't compare to the real thing. If I can't get away I Just have to get as much natural daylight as possible and take more supplements.

Sunshine is good for the brain. Most people in this country have low Vit D according to my doctor because we don't get enough sunshine. I was given something for mine to help with tiredness but it didn't make a difference

Well we get plenty of natural vitamin D! For the last week it's been sunny 15-20c which isn't bad for mid Feb! Lunch on the terrace - living the dream!

I know sun bed are not good for you but I have to say that it really has made so much difrence x

Yes i believe i have sads and use a lumie lamp which is used by atheletes and sports people. Using it made me feel like shit for the first few days and then after that i had bags more energy x

Yeovil huh? Then you've been overdosing on rain for the last two months. Sounds like you need a nice long relaxing massage...

bright light will help too..i mean really bright. Baisically i suffer from SAd a bit but i have been ok this winter as its been milder and i have got outdoors more. last winter i used vitamin D tablets...not sure if they helped.
