Bedworth

A former work colleague did it last year, with a friend of hers.

Allegedly neither of them did any training and both completed it (they are both trained dancers so have basic fitness). I have some doubts whether their claims of no training are actually true as I've heard how difficult it is.

God, hate all these throw yourself in the mud and crawl in icy water races.

They are just a money making gimmick. There's nothing that tough about them as there is no qualification time.

It's just for whoppers to post face book profile pics of them acting 'crazy'

I'm not averse to hard exercise or getting dirty (ex marine) but seriously, just do a run for charity or something. It's no big deal, and they are going to be exposed as just big earners for the companies quite soon ( I hope)

You have to be quite fit and be prepared for the possibility of having to be on antibiotics after, little cuts and mud don't go well.

Seriously, like big marathons not something you can do without some preparation and basic fitness.
