Just had a lemon muffin from Morrison's and they've stop filling them with lemon curd and put sugar on the top instead.

I've now got 3 muffins I don't really want, almost as disappointing as the time I bought donuts and they hadn't put any jam in them.

Reminds me of when my brother came over to visit me. We into a little teashop and he wanted one of those choux buns filled with cream and thick chocolate on top. You should have seen his face when with one massive bite he had a mouth full of unsweetened thick cream, and not the sweet whipped cream he was used to, Continental style. He spat it out in utter disgust.

Can't you squeeze some lemming onto the sugar?

Haven't got a jar of lemon curd, haven't had a jar of lemon curd for years now you mention it.

Lemon curd tarts are so much nicer than jam tarts too.

I was out with Tina at the weekend in Milton Keynes, typical, if I knew then what I know now

You have to wrap the pasty in tinfoil and warm it in an oven properly. Microwave ruins them, soggy pastry.

If you put a small glass of water in microwave when reheating food with pastry it doesn't get soggy.
