Dream job

So...I've always loved singing, and if I could chose to do any job in the world, I would sing, I have no desire to be famous, I just want to sing.

A few weeks ago, I saw an ad' online for a soul/motown vocalist to join a gigging group in the local area, I emailed them and send a video clip of myself belting out a few classics. I had a call this afternoon asking me to come over to see how I sound with the band!

I'm hoping this could be the start of something beautiful

Good luck.. your dream job sounds the same as mine

I had an audition for a band when i was 19.. scariest thing but was such a rush. Turned into a 3 hour jam session. Was gutted when i didnt get it, but they felt that although vocally i was a match my age worried them that id want kids etc and that would be a concern for an already very popular band.

Learnt loads from it. Just have fun.

i sing for fun, had a few sessions in the studio and at a few friends weddings.

These days im just a shower singer..
