I tend not to go now, as I just fail to see why people bother to make an effort to go, to talk on their mobiles and make a nuisance of themselves.

Its spoils it for people who want to watch the film.So mine seem to be most;y negative, what are yours?

last film i saw was Twilight New Moon..

i found it expensive and uncomfortable.

was freezing cold, i disliked the arm rests.

Am yet to try taking my lil one as before becoming a parent i used to be one of those people who whinged id spent shit loads of money to see a film and to have it 'ruined' by noisy kids... so im staying away lol

I went to see Wolf on Wall Street last week. Great film, uncomfy seats and yes...some young pillock was on their mobile phone throughout grrrr!

Went on Friday and some poor bugger had a heart attack, fortunately myself the mrs and one or two others in the screen were first aid trained. They paused the film while it was dealt with and gave us a voucher for free entry next time.

The fella survived and I can't say I minded the film being interrupted for a medical emergency

I love going to the cinema.

What grinds my gears is...

The person doing play by play commentary through the whole film.

Loud sweet wrappers.

People getting up in the film to go the toilet.

Talking on mobile phones during the film.

Talking during the film.

Smuggling in smelly food (like a kebab).

With the exception of going to the toilet, if anyone does any of those things then people in the cinema should be allowed to slap the person in question.

It's not really somewhere I choose to go for a night out or something.

Always took the kids when the lastest was out.

The price of it to be honest, and your sitting behind rude people can be a bug bear, get the dvd and munchies in lol

Think Skyfall was my last film. I don't go a lot but usually on my own and find people are noisy before the film and when it starts they are ok. Odd rustle of sweet bags etc but that's to be expected

I don't enjoy the cinema experience at all. Too expensive and inconsiderate people. Plus I'm a trifle deaf so any sort of background noise and I lose the dialogue, I'm forever saying "what did they say?"

Makes me actually watch the film instead of disappearing off to put a load of washing in or to make a brew

However I think cinema prices are astronomical now, almost £10 each so we only go when it's free now a much as the preview screenings

Saw the book thief last week for free, premier seats and all for nothing. Muhahhaha

I find that waiting until the initial novelty of a film has worn off really helps. The theatre is quieter, often quite empty, especially going at non-peak times. The cinema is also quite high standard.

I love going to the cinema. It's too expensive to go as often as I would like.

I don't have a problem telling the talkers to be quiet but if I am going to see a grown up film on my own I'll wait for a Sunday afternoon or daytime and it's usually just me and three other people in there so I can just give them a hard Paddington stare.

the small town i grew up in had four cinemas, all were flea pits really, ripped or worn out seats smelling of damp, now in that town there are no cinema's left so if you want to see a film you have to go to an out of town complex.

I've bought a big fuck off TV, a loud fuck off surround system, a big subwoofer and a blu-Ray player...don't need the cinema anymore!

Ours blocks phones too. Doesn't stop people talking though.

I mostly go to see kid's films but I ignore all the rustling and wandering of the kids down the front. No idea why parents take really little kids that just get bored.

Orange Wednesdays are great, I even got a cheap SIM and a fiver of credit to put in an old phone just to get this. It was still cheaper than the first free ticket.

I also use See Film First for completely free tickets.

But if you can go during the day there are fewer disturbances.

My daughter and I have a ritual that we always go to the cinema on new years day. It's fabulous. We're usually the only customers in the whole cinema so pick the prime seats and have the huge screen to ourselves with no disturbances

Weekend do find noisy food and talking annoying but people dont listen if you ask them to stop ,

In regards to cost unlimited pass at 15.90 a month is a bargain as you can use ee 2for1 with it as well

Mixture really. It depends what area the cinema is in, what time and what day the movie is on.

I prefer to go to afternoon showings but find they can be the noisiest at weekends so I tend to have to go in the evenings.

You can always go tell the cinema staff if someone is really pissing you off.

We went to the cinema in Dubai with the friends we were stayin with. They have a gold class screen, all the seats are basically lazy boys and you have waiter service for refreshments. Not cheap but a great experience. I do however begrudge having to pay the best part of £20 to take myself and my six year old daughter to the cinema. The price they charge for pic n mix is daylight robbery.

We do occasionally take them on a Saturday morning when it is only £1 each and smuggle in our own sweets, but these are always films that have been out for about 8 months..

In Northampton we have a new one called the Errol Flynn cinema, it's lovely,one screen sits 90 always best to pre book and even have food free screenings, you get a table between your plush leather seats where you can pop your pot of tea or glass of wine, an all round more refined cinema experience, we use it lots love it there

lack of interest in new films coming out, lack of time and being happy to wait for them to come out on dvd/tv is the reason why i havnt bothered.

there are plenty of old films i prefer watching than new ones coming out that i think 'oo, i must watch that!'

When I was a young un it was the best thing ever. Nowadays though, it's spoilt by idiots talking and on their phones.

Plus the seats are really uncomfortable.

Only film I'm seeing at the cinema is Avengers: Age of Ultron and that's next year.

I am atill open to the odd 'back row' experience, though!! I knew someone would lower the tone... "

There is a cinema near to me that got shut down.

So the local community got together and bought it, they are cheaper than the big chains of cinemas and although you have to wait a couple of weeks to see the latest blockbuster there are a couple of advantages.

When they did it up the reintroduced twin seats in the back rows for couples and in the interval there are still people who come round with an icecream and snack tray, it a proper cinema experience.

What a lovely thing to do. Our cinema we used to use as teenagers and as adults got closed down but the back row was legendary. As was the icecream tray. Over the years it has been various bars /clubs but they haven't changed the frontage, to my knowledge,guessing they weren't allowed to

All the cinemas I've been in have earnings about mobile phones. I've never hears one go off.
