Is it illegal to have sexual encounters with yourself or someone else in your own home while your curtains are open? What are the rules and laws on this?

Can anyone help?

Yes you have a right to privacy in your own home, anyone who is looking in through the windows is a peeping tom, and or stalker .

Normal people do not look into other peoples windows .I would deny having sex and then demand to see the pictures if it happened as everyone has a camera phone, if they have pictures, say they are stalking you it's obvious and making and distributing pornongraphic images

Might be an idea to get some nets

I believe that performing a sex act in your house, with curtains open, which allowed people to see you us an offence.

Unless you were prancing about in full view what's the problem, common sense seems in short supply sometimes.

If you're just walking round your house naked then you're probably fine. But if you are performing sexual acts in plain sight that another might deem offensive then that's when you'll get trouble. Private property or not.

Somewhere in North Norfolk

It would depend on the likelihood that you could or would be seen, I think.

I'm not planning on doing this and I'm not a peeping tom either. I was just purely wondering what the rules/laws are on this matter as I see both sides to the argument but was unsure which was the legally correct side.
