not often i post in forums but was curious to find out when enough is enough regarding verifications.

For example. Going to a club or a party or a general meet. You meet you verify next day perhaps. Them next week you happen to bump into them again do you really need to verify again?

Also when you have attended a event and some one asks to be verified when they already have hundreds do they really need any more?

I can understand if your new to the site but Omg reading peoples verifications which are repeat after repeat by the same person i find pointless. I guess some people need to see the verifications!

Whats peoples views on this

I usually only verify someone once unless I have a good reason to verify them again - like meeting them in different circumstances, such as at a party or for group play and wanting to confirm they were comfortable/reliable/whatever.

I prefer to meet people socially first and usually only write veris for social meets. I prefer to be more discreet when it comes to play meets.

As for people asking for a veri when they have hundreds, why not? If you don't want to veri them for some reason, don't, but otherwise I don't see the harm.

Some people collect veris. I don't understand it myself but if it makes them happy and doesn't hurt anyone else, I see no reason to object.

Some people like to use veris to log who they've met and enjoy the memories of reading back through them.

If someone I'd met asked me for a veri and I had no reason to not want to leave one, I'd write one for them.

Personal preference isn't it

One or two from the same person is ok but then everyone is different

I always verify meets but not always verified myself. I don't show them on my profile as they are for me not anyone else.

Over the rainbow, under the bridge

People you really need to stop the obsession with verifications. If a profile puts you off because of them move on to the next one.

I verify once, maybe twice if I know them well and it's been a long time since my last one. More than twice starts looking like territory marking to me.

I do host a social and I offer a veri to everyone who attends, if they want it. It generally works out that I verify all the single men and then a few others. But, to me, that's just part of my duties as host.

Requests for veris don't mean that you have to do it. I'd encourage someone under pressure to provide a veri to really consider whether they're working in the best interests of everyone else, and why someone is desperate.
