I(Mr naughty) use the humble casserole or veg curries. They can be prepared in bulk and frozen. Pies are a good option too.

Started using cale. It's fantasticly healthy and goes with lots of meals. Also stays fresh for a long time in the fridge.

I love mine too. Granny will blast me for this but I do scouse in it.

Also love doing lamb shanks in it.

cannot beat cauliflower cheese, with a crispy breadcrumb topping.

add things like ham or chopped up sausages to it for yummy winter warmers.

oh and a sprinkle of paprika in the crust.

risotto rice. onion, bacon, rice, knob butter, veg stock, frozen peas.

can add any left over veg, carrots, cabbage, peppers, mushrooms, grates cheese, or boiled egg on top.

or cheese on toast.

I have found you can add so much to it. corned beef is good, and maybe some herbs and a few spices.

sainsbury's do a chilli, pepper and garlic mix that is lush as a topping
