Could potentially be a daft question (wouldnt be the first time from me lol)

Does anyone struggle to relate to people or understand their posts/threads because you have never seen their face?

People i've warmed too most i can visualize them, but the ones i feel distant from its because they are anonymous. Not saying everyone should expose their faces just wondering if i'm alone in this?

I am glad I don't relate to some posts or poster, I am truly bewildered at times.

Then there are the people I do relate to and the ones that I have watched grow as adults over the years.

The posters I recently met were exactly as I thought.

No. I take people's posts at face value. I neither try to relate or understand them as most people think differently to me anyway. It wouldn't make any difference if I know what they look like.

This is a good question.

I think we can only go by peoples personalities through written work.

I try to work out personalities through different threads, moods ect.

I think because we don't know each other, we don't see the laughing frowns, body language, it is very hard to understand, I'm the worlds worst.

I often write straight away without thinking often getting the wrong end of the stick

Brighton - even Hove!

I imagine some people might think 'there's that twat from Brighton' when I post and when they meet me, think 'yup, he's a twat from Brighton'

I think I relate more to those I have had correspondence with or met. It makes it easier to understand that context of their posts most of the time.

Sometimes I still sit and shake my head in disbelief though.

It sometimes feels like I kind of 'know' people from reading their posts for so long. You get to know people's sense of humour. I'm pretty crap at remembering too many people though. And if they change avatars I'm totally lost. So a lot of times I just read posts and don't really think about who posted it, just the content of the post.
