Titz Towers, North Notts

I don't mind as long as they believe that personal isn't just an abstract idea.

If they are invited to be up close and personal that's fine but people who get right up against you when it doesn't feel right it can be rather disturbing.

Why is it that the people who typically invade personal space have bad breath and spit while they speak?

One bloke in my local is like that but I'm too polite to tell him to piss off

The problem is, that my unwillingness to tell him to piss off seems to encourage him and he makes a beeline for me

I'm doomed

Ps....he talks utter shite as well lol

Men typically have a personal space of about 2'6 to 3', for women it's about 1'. If you want to increase your personal space move your arms about more. You can tell someone's personal space just by watching them.

I work with a guy with a grey beard, he gets far too close for my liking, puts his hand on my shoulder, chortles in my face, he's not funny! Also seems to have the remains of his lunch, nestling in his beard!! Baulk!

Actually, it is something women should pay attention to: just broadening their gestures will increase their social status.
