They love scrubby ground, brambles, hawthorn and stuff like that, but grass would have to be rough and half dead to appeal to them!

Mint is a BITCH to get rid of.

We made the mistake of putting some in our herb garden - and it totally took over!!!!

Smelled lovely but stop the lovely herubs from growing so well.

My fave to grow is rocket - it grows superb and ya get loads to eat - and from the supermarket is over £1 for a bag of soggy mush
