Re: cloud of ash over Europe and UK flights cancelled.

Most people would have some sort of insurance cover but acts of god are not covered in most I believe.

How do insurance companies get away with this clause?

Do we know god exists?

Surely there must be a burden of proof?

It is that darned Force Majeure clause... gets them out of many things... mind you, difficult to forecast a volcanic eruption unless you are in a swing club with the Rugby team

Insurance companies will cover you for more but you will have to pay more its all up to you as an individual. Its just the majority choose to pay less and receive less cover.
