Now I have accidentally written 2 veris for two people for the same event, I'm wondering who I've forgotten.

Just leave them a belated one or a funny one they don't really matter though in the big picture unless they are vari collectors.

I'm more embarrassed about forgetting who I've veried and writing a second one, even though in both cases, they were already displaying the one I'd already written.

Unless they are both the same I wouldnt worry I dont think people are that fickle.
