Argh stress!!!

Well as you all know I've had my share of troubles with my ex. Well since September last year things have been much better. My murderous thoughts have stopped him and his gf seemed to of settled down and as of January my lad started stopping over their house once a week (this took a lot for me for many reasons, not to do with her though!)

So for 6 weeks everything been fine, my lads slept there quite happily and we are in a nice little routine, I get the occasional night to myself and he spends some quality time with his dad.

Now I've just got a text message saying 'I don't think I can have him overnight tomorrow, I don't think me and Rachel are together anymore'

WTF??? Firstly how can you not know? Secondly they were trying for a baby 3 whole days ago they took my lads old cot bed to their house...

So after everything it's only been a few ruddy weeks and now he's been let down!!! I wouldn't mind but no doubt they will be back together in a few days like normal

Think of it this way. If there is stress and tension at your ex's right now would you want your son Round there anyway? Hearing them fight etc

People can be happy one day and split up the next and then happy the next day lol

There have been many supportive threads on here for various reasons. Did you post such a reply on the thread about the ladies health tests earlier today as well? Some might argueiit's not the place to air your medical condition either after all.

OP hopefully they will sort it out one way or another. At least he had a girlfriend. There's hope he'll find another - and continue to leave you alone.

What opinion?? He's just told me in a text he can't have his son coz he might of split up with his girlfriend.,,

I've said that's stressful for me as I thought we were all just at a place that was good for us and our son.

I know he's definately the dad so no need for the Jeremy Kyle show thanks!!!!

I have friends on here. I'll post what u like in the lounge as long as it's within site rules thanks!

It's taken us a long time to get to a good place, he's been excellent for a good few months which is why I agreed to him finally having him overnight in the new year.

I know what you mean. They used to argue like cat and dog which was why I took a long time to agree to let him stay there like you say I didn't want him in the middle of it all. But things have been so settled for months now, it's a real shame if everything's gone tits up.

Take out your frustrations on those pillows hun. They can take it!mI'm not sure how old your little boy is but he is the most important thing in all this. Life changes all the time. Just remind him that even tho this is the case mum and dad still love him. Big hugs to you x

He would do if I asked him, he did last week when our boy was Ill and I had the dentist. I don't have much to do though and if the weathers shit I don't wanna go out, the only thing I was planning to do was a trial run of my lads birthday cake but that'll wait till he's at nursery now.

He's 3 next week, it's just a shame that he's been spending some quality time with his dad and now that'll stop.

Go get a coffee, see some friends, get your nails did.....anything, the world is your lobster for a few hours and your lad gets to keep in touch with his dad which is clearly important to you.

Personally, i think the wellbeing and happiness of your little one is paramount at the moment. That should be your concern. So, whatever you decide, do it for him.

I'm not sure how old he is. But, you may have to compromise for a night to see what happens between your ex and his partner. It may just be a bit of rough water and they need some time to sort it. I don't the dynamics of it all - he could be a lying bastard for all i know.

This one you'd have to do what you think is best.

...and c'mon why does everything have to be about Jeremy Kyle? I ain't even got my trackies on or the grease in my beard for all that role play lol

Actually I will ask him what's stopping him coming to pick him up and take him out for a day. Then bring him home at dinner time. Not sure why he can't do

That?? They go visit his parents etc normally is nothing stopping him x
