it depends, sometimes at work they have cake sales for charity and I buy them then throw them away I know its odd because I have no problem going into a bakery and buying the longest sticky willie (quiet at the back) available.

I'm a bit put off by home made food made by people I don't know. They might have sneezed or coughed over it. Or they may be nose pickers

I look at restaurants hygiene rating online and if I'm going somewhere I look at that...I know I've cooked for parties but I'd like to think I have a good level of cooking hygiene

if i buy a takeaway i expect them to have adhered to all the health requirements needed to run a food establishment.

could be anything in people kitchens.

people keep their bleedin cats litter trays in there

its the room where people that like to keep their lounge nice smoke.

i mean, why would you?

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

It depends. If it looks ok then I will risk it.

If I make something for people I would be offended if they refused to eat it.

On the other hand, if I am in someone's home and it looks as disgusting as my home then I might decline politely.

What I don't know doesn't bother me as I don't really cook anymore.

Id like to think if a person was making food for others extra care would be taken in preperation.

I faff about with my hair quite a bit when cooking my own meals.. dont wash my hands after. But if i were baking for others i would

Hmm. Bear in mind that this has been done in a place with lots of other kiddies. No doubt the offering was interrupted by nose picking and a bit of arse scratching and letting several other students have a good old grope of the food with their unwashed hands and dirty nails

No cheeky I don't know what your problem is

"

If its home cooked and I don't know who cooked it YES. If I offered you cheesecake you would be wise to decline mine I am a shit cook and lick my fingers while making stuff.

An old girlfriend once took me to her friends for dinner, the house was a tip and in the kitchen they had 2 rabbits and a guinea pig running and hopping about, shit all over the floor, then a cat appears and jumped on the unit, npw they had made a Lasagne and were bragging how it was made by them that afternoon,I won't lie I struggled to eat it, with every mouthful (the bastards gave me a massive plate full) I had the gag reflex kick in, it took me all my time not to vomit while eating it, from that day on I can't eat Lasagne, put me right off

"Maybe I'm just strange....lol"

That make two of us then, I won't eat home made stuff unless I've seen the kitchen, generally check out hygiene reports of take away, my dad was even worse and would only eat food my mum prepared...

I work in peoples houses nowadays and have thrown many a cup of tea down the loo. Worked in a hospital kitchen once and we found loads of cockroaches in the extractor hood...
