.... Does anyone else find apps such as KIK and Whatsapp etc annoying?

Most people are unwilling to meet you unless you have said apps because apparently giving a simple phone number out on the day of a meet is unacceptable now a days. I'm not being biased as I've tried them and found people were just messaging me randonmly at stupid times of the day. I even lost a client thanks to a guy disrespectfully messaging me a pic of his cock during working hours!!! Is this just me? or am i a prude?

Pics can be sent via Whatsapp and Kik. Which is why I say before I give mine that I don't send pics

Not totally sure what they are. I have an old plinky plonk Nokia payg. It takes half an hour to send a text.

I have some of them,if ive given someone my number its because I pretty much trust they're not going to behave like an idiot and hav'nt had any concerns,its not the apps that are the problem its the people you've added

Finally someone that understands. Though i do have one friend on here that has verified me too where all we have done is message and exchange pics on here he doesnt know my number or address thats perfect for me shame all dont like to do it that way

Very true but at the time it only said I had a new message didnt say it was a pic or who from so yes I will admit I was a bit naive on that one

We just Use fab for all contact. We only give out my number just before a meet even then it's a payg. So when I'm not playing it's off.

I have these apps. Only use them in my fab phone. They are good for swapping pics etc I have no problem with that. Much prefer to use them as im very tight with topping up credit! Nobody has ever abused it either but it's easy enough yi block if they do. I don't see the issue with using them.

It's just another medium for people to get off like Skype etc. We use fab and fab alone if a potential meet isn't happy with that then we are obviously not for them

These apps are no different to texting,you can see who has sent the message you don't have to open them or read them if you're busy the same as you would'nt with a text

Im not going to make any arrangements with anyone unless ive spoken to them on the phone at some point,fab only contact does'nt work for me at all

What about those people who will only communicate via Skype or on Cam?

I have Skype for written messages only. I don't have a Cam for live transmissions, as for me, they are simply too bloody complicated!

Yes, I'm a geek at times, but having to perform technical miracles just to satisfy someone else's technical prowess in order to get a meet, is one step too far!

If I had someone with me I wouldn't be looking at my mobile and certainly not if I had someone with me in the office. Very unprofessional!!

As for meets on here, Fab only doesn't work for me either.

I don't use any of them to get off,I use them as its instant chat and I can send instant pics,plus I have a right laugh with some of my friends from here on whatsapp,its spontaneous madness some days and I enjoy that

Whatsapp toast notifications are annoying when you're playing a game. My Kik notifications only work once in a blue moon

Have the apps for family and friends mainly and a couple of good friends on here.

Not into picture swapping, there are plenty up to date pics on my profile. Fab contact only, never give out my number unless I've known them a while. It works perfectly well for me

I was driven mad on another site for these, constant messages about them, as you single ladies can appreciate.

As a single woman there was no "hello" just you got kik ect.

My own opinion it wasn't about faster messaging half the time, just getting you on there to swap pics.

Never use the same user name as here unless you want to be bombarded

I had kik for about 5 mins and deleted it,then kept getting notifications about new messages,they were from guys on here whos messages on here I had'nt replied to so they tried the profile name as a kik name and messaged that too.....desparadoes!!

I use them in the same way as texting, not for challenges, games or to get off on...

whatsapp mainly for friends & kik for people I've met off here. fab only contact doesn't work for me.

kik is good because you swap user names as opposed to numbers.
