i get a lot of messages that come across as ifthe gentleman thinks he is entitled to sleep with me simply by virtue of the fact that we are both on this ssite. i get others which seem to hold the belief that because i am on this site i must be desperate and therefore should gratefully accept any offer thrown my way. i have spoken to men who receive similar messages from women. i don't particularly think the site has made anyone, anything. i think there is an overall shift say from general manners and respect in some people.

There are people out there who like all kinds of people, the guys I like often tell me they get turned down for looking too good or because people don't like muscles or think they're fake.

There are profiles which warn the gym fit guys off so why message someone when you don't match their preferences no matter what those preferences are?

I've given this more thought. I don't think it can be called being picky. There is a difference between only meeting those that you are attracted to, and turning up to a meet and not wanting to take it further because they are wearing the wrong shoes.....that is being picky!!

The choice might be over whelming for some but I still choose who I would like to meet based on the same criteria I apply in the 'real' world.

So far most the men I have met off Fabs (don't go by my veri's as there are others lol!) have done pretty well as meets go & certainly haven't needed to 'fill in the gaps' so to speak.

We are all "picky" to some extent. Life (and Fab) is about choices. Saying yes to everything is a choice as much as saying no. You still have to schedule when to access that yes.

Our choices may not be dictated by the same wants and desires all the time. I used to meet younger men an much older men but now I don't as I find I quite like men in their late forties/early fifties because I am that age. That doesn't mean I might not have a yen for something different at another time and so my choice then may well be different.

I am happy in my pickiness.

Many females come here with the simple optimism and hope of secretly having sex with someone, usually after spending some time void of attention, then.....

They way I see this is that people (not just women) put their profile up with preferences of who/what type of person they are interested in.

Other people then view these profiles and request meets. They get turned down because they don't meet the preferences that have been put on the profile.

They then accuse the person who has turned them down as being 'picky'

Maybe I am picky, but don't see it as a bad thing that I only have sex with those I find attractive...just so happens I find a lot of people attractive! I couldn't get turned on by someone I didn't have any attraction to so would be a waste of time if I was less picky. Fab may have given me access to more men and a better selection of potential play mates, but I'm no more selective than I was before I joined the site...if anything my preferences have probably widened as I found more qualities attractive than I used to.

You always turn my words into something I never meant! Its natural that you take advantage of the situation when you find yourself in a candy shop spoiled for choice and you can afford most candies on offer that are happy to be eaten ruther than go wasted. I am not saying you should meet anyone you dont fancy.

What I am saying is that I see most women here take it as another badge of merite to be picky just because they can. Most women here say "oh I am picky, I am fussy who I meet, you need to be fit all my criterias which are this and that and the list of conditions and rules go soo long". Reality is that if you were in a balanced situation where men can have the same choices as you have, you won't be picked by most guys you are picking now.

Men in the other hand are being picked. That makes them feel genuinely attractive to women they have met and that's the real badge of merite. I know I will be hummered for this but its the advantage men bave in here.

Yes I would but I wouldn't let the situation change me into a superficial person and then put in my profile a list of shallow conditions. Or for example I put in my profile: "If you boobs are reaching your knees dont in touch or only those under 12 in waist and have model type figure" or only pretty women apply. You see all sorts of this kind of rules in women's profiles. Unfortunately we live in a culture of material offer and demand rule. Sounds more like a cattle market in this site.

Many females come here with the simple optimism and hope of secretly having sex with someone, usually after spending some time void of attention, then.....

After wondering if they'll get a second look, they are overwhelmed by the attention they get.

They read the attitudes of others.
