My top eight

1 Wigan

2 St helens

3 Warrington

4 Huddersfield

5Hull kr

6 Leeds

7 Hull fc

8 Salford.

I'm gonna have a wild one here and say st helens to win it.

Good call on the top 8, hard to argue with that. Being an honarary Rhino's fan, my heart would want them to win but I reckon it could be a year for the underdog so maybe Huddersfield.

Thing is with Leeds. Is that they havnt really bought the last couple of years and they have got alot of senior players now. (good players) but they need some young guys now that's why I've gone for saints to win it. Last year they had alot of youth so this year I think there gonna shine.

Totally agree, they never really replaced the guys retired. I'm not hugely impressed with the current squad but always hope for a good season. Have to say Saints look pretty good in pre-season. Be interesting to see how Wigan go without Sam Tomkins, could be a blow too much to deal with.

True but for some reason Wigan allways seem to produce good local talent so that will be interesting. Aslong as the mighty hull kr do well I'll be pleased. And hope we get to wembley aswell

Leeds back line is probably the youngest most exciting back line they've had in a long time, hardhacker, bricoe, moon, hall, and watkins that is probably the best back line in super league it's there forwards that are knocking on and the half backs just aren't good enough,

I think Widnes might make the 8 this year, and can't see past Wigan winning it again tomkins or not,

Slightly off topic but what do people think about Sam Burgess in talks with bath rugby union?

Sam burgess well if he goes people will say it's only for the money. He's young why not I say just along as he comes back after the world cup. Maybe sign for hull kr lol

Jason Robinson aside, can't say I've seen many successful code switches.

Wish him luck all the same, ya never know. Bath may well gain a new star.

Jonathon Davies? He was brilliant at both codes, there have been a few in oz that have switched to good effect, and then there's sbw who's on about switching again for 2015 again

We can't afford to lose a talent like him from our game, he is the best player in the world at the moment

Good call I'll give you that one although I never saw him play league, I didn't reall get into any rugby till the 90's

Thing is. He's not big enough to be a forward in union and I carnt really see him as a centre. He's the type of player that wants the ball and run. Oh and can he kick ?

The way union is going Burgess would make a good 8 he runs hard and has a nice pair of hands when going into collision, he'll destroy union defences running off the fly half,

I saw him play and he was brilliant so fast, but he was hard as nails, go on you tube and watch his try against canbera in the world club challenge
