Strictly speaking they are NOT crisps.

They are little biscuits in the shape of fish or chips...with vinegary salt on them.

Smiths salt'n'shake with the blue bag

Smiths had lots of cool flavours, the most potent salt and vinegar and also savoury vinegar

And cheddar cheese flavour with no onion

Also murphys roast ox flavour was good

Years ago, there was a Savoury Vinegar flavour. I loved it, but they stopped making them. I think Smiths did them.

Taytos were the original flavoured crisps. Cheese and onion
