She is a vile, vile woman. And far more a reflection of society's faults than those she attacks.

it is a good letter.

but the more people speak about her, the more mileage she gets.

She's a contrived invention. No one could honestly hold the extreme set of values she does. Always remember, journalists only get paid when they write. And that's all she's doing.

I use the term journalist in this loosest sense here.

Good letter. A catharsis in itself for the OP x

Just a quick one, is she actually a member on here, if not, how is she going to read her letter, given the fact that she is unlikely to associate with people of such obviously low morale standards.

A side issue, if she were on here what would you reckon her username would be?

I think she's little more than filth and would not waste my energy on writing to her - her mind is closed, and she performs on tv etc.

I would write to the tv companies and ask them to remove her services though. If she is starved of attention, as well as deriving income, then she will have her influence reduced.

The government has used propaganda to get the masses at each others' throats, seemingly fairly succesfully, rather than directing their attention to those in society that do inflict major ills and are detrimental to us all. Goebbels would have been proud of their results, and a stand needs to be taken against such blatant manipulation of people.

So, if your _iewing results are monitored, such as via cable tv, then stop watching her. Write letters to TV companies and request alternative production values etc. It is likely to be more effective at getting her out of our homes.

A very well written letter. There is hope that our young people can write in English, using whole words and punctuation.

Where was the letter posted?

I think Katie Hopkins is the Marie Antoinette figure of our times and serves a useful purpose along with E Currie as a focus for and representation of some of the more extreme and less palatable opinions held by some. I think it's unfortunate that by focusing on relatively uninfluential people like her the blame is deflected from the real perpetrators of social injustice again.

I thought the letter very mature for a 19 year old and his claim that he had never claimed government funding untrue, he must have gone to school, the dentist the doctor unless he has wealthy parents too. But on the whole a good response to the lady anyone who's interested might like to read Jack Molloys open letter to E Currie which was published on the media....but due to my advanced age I can't remember where ......The Guardian? The Mirror?

This PC world you all seem to 'live' in is doomed, and the KH's of this world should be admired for having the balls to say what's right and whats wrong.

The more people respond with outrage the more this woman is smiling all the way to the bank. If I were her I would respond to with an open letter of my own to keep the band wagon rolling.

Sorry, but there are no PC laws or customs, merely appropriate legislation, such as hate speech being outlawed etc. I'm all for equality, respect and harmony and she seems to fail at all the hurdles at someone who could bring together our varied culture. She is mostly what is wrong with today's world. The mores of yesteryear, before 'PC' etc, were respect, but I think she is sorely lacking in it having chosen to foster hate.

Children who have unusual or oddly spelt names tend to fare worse in the classroom, academics have claimed.

Teachers may subconsciously lower their expectations for pupils with names such as Destiny, Kayleegh and Chantal.

Alternatively, they tend to predict higher grades from students with traditional names - like Catherine or William.

This may suggest that teachers draw conclusions about pupils' backgrounds on the basis of their names, according to The Times Educational Supplement (TES).

I can imagine that what you quote has some basis in fact. It's a shame that everyone is so concentrates on aiming their dislike at this woman and what she represents that they miss the bigger picture. That's why I believe she serves a useful purpose for some deflecting anger and channelling it away from the real issues.

Seems that most, or all Apprentice contestants have the same personalities - false, superficial, pretentious, and have the delusion that they're better than everyone else.

I know a past Apprentice contestant (not saying who), and she ticks all the boxes above. Katie Hopkins is the same, but with the addition of being totally odious.

Katie Hopkins is excellent at what she does.

She is deliberately inflamatory, provocative and emotive.

It's what she's paid for.

It works too.
