What an episode!! Will David Starkey ever work on TV again? Will he be able to exit the building before Galloway plants one on him??

I know. What a humdinger of an episode.

Plus a member of the audience being the Asian Ed Miliband doppelganger. He even sounded like him.

They started with a row over rape, Starkey had some rather strange definitions, then moved onto state vs private education and are now rowing about the right to strike. Galloway is having a field day.

Galloway, Benn and Hislop are three peeps who I'd tune in for specially. All three make for lively guests. Someone could have told me!

Starkey seems to have the worlds biggest shovel and just keeps digging, it is car crash TV but totally rivetting.

"Starkey seems to have the worlds biggest shovel and just keeps digging, it is car crash TV but totally rivetting."

Not really. He's always been the same. He'll live to be a guest once more. It's not the first time he's be provocative. I don't necessarily agree with him, but I recognise he's got conviction.

Perhaps Starkey, Galloway and Jowell will have a few drinks and embark on a bi mmf?? Somehow I doubt it!

I don't like to be out later than 10pm on a Thursday. I want to be home to watch QT and This Week.

I had one very memorable meet where I asked to watch QT after we had got naked and into bed.

I'm watching it now. Starkey is reminding me of Basil Brush, rendered human, but without the charm or catchphrase.

Increasingly, dimbo seems to be an ineffectual as chair.

Time to retire. But who would you get. The majority of political commentary is thin these days. The late John Cole would've been boring but infinitely more effective in his time.

Snow would've been a formidable chair - in his day.

Eddie Meyer - radio 4 - I reckon.

does seem a tad convenient that Eric has stepped into the breach so to speak, handy timing or a necessary eye op..?
