Titz Towers, North Notts

Raleigh Boxer

" Burner (GS)

" Marauder

" not sure, but it is red, weighs a ton and would probably come off best in a head on collision with anything less than a Land Rover.

A friend used to have one of the old gsx1100's I'm not sure if all of them were silver but most I noticed were, used to insure it as a gsx100 and add in an extra 1 himself...

In the 80's before online checking was available, wouldn't get away with it now. Probably wouldn't have gotten away with it then if he'd crashed it.

I've only listed road bikes ??"

LoL OK...

The first part of the list is bikes I had before a licence that I stripped and rode over the local common (I also cringe when I think of some of them!)

NSU Quickly (first bike really a moped), AJS 250 single, Arial Leader, Arial Arrow, Arial Square 4 1000 , BSA Bantam D3,D7,D10, C15 250 and a box of bit I through away because it was too much trouble to put it back together...think it was a sidevalve sloper..., Frany Barnett 125, James Captain 250, Royal Enfield 500 Twin... all stripped down to frame tank seat engine and ragged to death...Makes me cringe now but in the late 60s early 70s they were nothing more than scrap metal

On the road... In order: Honda 50, Honda 90, Yamaha XS 250 (then altered...400 head and barrels, Suzuki GT500, Honda 400/4, Yamaha TR1 (first brand new bike I bought), Yamaha XT400, Bimito SB4, honda CX500, Kawasaki GPZ1100, Honda CB900F2, Yamaha XJ650 seca, Norton commander P53, Honda CBR900RR, Yamaha TZ250 and my last road bike was a CBR600.

I also spent years restoring, building and racing a classic British hybrid cafe racer and although it was road legal I have not listed it above because it was really for racing and posing with...

Norton wideline featherbed frame, stretch 5 gal tank, clip ons and rearsets, choice of 2 engines...BSA A7 500SS and A10 GS, RRT2 Gearbox.
