This afternoon I was standing at the bus stop and a lovely lady (complete stranger) asked if I had a bus pass. I said no. She then put down her shopping dug in her purse and pulled out a system 1 daysaver ticket and gave it to me saying she had no further use for it and would it be of use to me.

Her act of thoughtfulness made my day!

I was walking down the High Street tonight on my way to work. It's bitterly cold out with high winds and rain. There was 2 guys sleeping rough wrapped up in blankets. I went to McDonald's and bought 2 meals and hot drinks for them. When I told the guy behind the counter who it was for he put in extra fries and burgers that were going to be thrown away.

That was a wonderful act of kindness on your part and the McDs employee.

Good on you!

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

I would like to say it was something noble or kind but the thing that made me smile was my bacon and avocado roll at lunchtime.

My boss approaching me in front of my whole office, saying I'd done a good job on a piece of work. It was a lovely feeling.
