pics on google

Has anyone else found their pics on google? Typed in fabswingers on google. Clicked on images at top. Loads and loads of fab members pictures on display. Bit worrying really (well only if you dont want your pics to be seen)

Don't even need to log in to see them.

As Tina says, if you don't adjust your privacy settings, non registered users can find you on web searches I believe.

I think it's pretty crap people can do that, women I've met have encouraged me to put pics on but it's stuff like that happening that really puts me off. Xx

Yes googling fabswingers an then clicking images is going to show a lot of images but I found very few directly link to fab and those that did where not of the members. I did recognise a couple of the pics only because they'd made the news, the copper who'd been outed and woman who'd been signed upto fab without her knowledge both of which linked to press sites.

I hadn't realised this at all. Just changed my settings so thanks for that!

I don't have my name on here and I don't like to have my face on display incase anyone I know or work with see's me but even so....i don't want my bottom showing all over google!!!

I wouldn't be too worried about what images google can find on Fab but rather the picture hosting sites people use to display pics they pinched off Fab

If you put your mouse over the pics it says they are from different sites not this one.

There are also pics that where in Newspapers when something was being reported.

If you looked at pics on this site and then logged off, you wouldn't see those pics so it would be like that for non members at all times

This is how i found fabswingers. I was searching a name of a person and found the pic of her with the word fabswingers at the bottom. You can not hide on the internet why try.

The other thing to be aware /careful of (it dosent just apply to Fabs but ANY site. It happened to me once. If you use the same prefix of your e mail address as a user name on any site

if for example your email was Billstickers@Gmail.com

and you used the Billstickers Part as a user name (lots of people do it)say for example you had a sneaky profile on Match or Fish.com or even fabs. If someone knows your e mail (and it can be quite innocent like a friend looking you up on google and they enter either your e mail or Billstickers hey presto the lot will come up in a search ins public pics and the site itself. Maybe not in the top ten search (unless you been a busy little bee lol ) So NEVER use part of an e mail as user name. i speak as a man with the scars to prove it lol (years ago Im a good boy now)

They the ones in gallery or private gallery too? Thought they were blurred if you weren't online/registered?

ps of course it works a treat the other way around. If u suspect your other half (male or female ) may be banging for England on Swinging heaven while you been doing it on Fabs. Whack their e mail into google and see what appears !! lol

Its not that so much, its about the ever increasing power and reach that google is obtaining into everything online. Im suer youve all had the persistant requests from google to "manage all your accounts in one place" you may also have noticed tyhem trying to get ypu to change from hotmail *theyve already pushed every one to outlook. if you are like me and resisting you will find that yiu start having issues logging into hotmail, it will run slower. basically what they want is everyones details in one big database so that no matter what search engine, e mail provider or anything you do online will be accesible to someone somwhere. Dont forget all online businesses or sites like this use a host, tha will inevitably lead back to one place. hats why Facebook has more holes in its privacy settings than a bloody calender,

just try to keep seperate user names, Seperate passwords where u can and be careful what you post and that applies ANYWHERE !! Remember once something is posted onto the net you lose complete control of it its one genie thats never going back into the bottle again !!
