I had a pair of diadora snow boots and a sweatshirt as a teen (and yes they were well cool).......... I'm just wondering why the OP still thought them cool 16 years later

Not too old as my sister is in her 20s and she wore them when she was about 4 or 5, and even then people in their 20s wore it. So people in their early 40s must remember it.

They aren't cool now, but they were at the time. At least, I thought they were. I had a diadora sweatshirt & ellesse shoes

Before that I had a cheap ass shell-suit & a purple reebok tracksuit.

No. the shop sold different makes of jeans, hundreds of pairs in the shop you just found what you were looking for.
