The pain might be from pulled muscles. After all, hiccups are spasms of the diaphragm, and violent jerking motions can do such a thing. Consider a visit to your doctor if it's very painful.

I hate hicups but dont get them often. There was a guy who was no the tv who has had them for 3 years! Poor sod.

i was in bed for 2days after a bad case of them, but was told it was because i was working out before hand, so if you been a busy bee thats why they could be hurting you

Get _ig bad to fire some of his special cream, right at the back of your throat, surely that will stop them!

Put a blob of peanut butter on the roof of your mouth, then try and lick it off. Apparently the concentration and effort required to remove sticky stuff changes your breathing pattern, and cures the hiccies. Someone got paid £25 for that suggestion in a girlie mag ! Worth a try if you like peanut butter, lol.

The method I posted above works for me every time without fail. If there is a more serious underlying medical condition then professional advice is required but for bog standard hiccups I've relied on my method for years and it's never let me down.

i once seen a documentory about this guy that had hickups for over a year, it was later discoverd that they were caused by a brain tumor on his brainstem but im sure yours are just involentery spazams of the dyophram lolz xx
