Hair Colour - ladies please help

Norwich NR5

As I near 30 years old (I wish) I like many blokes thought Id try some grey removing hair colour - urghhhhhhh.

It went orangey brown, it says its a pernament clour, so please ladies, how can i change it back to my natural mid-blonde/grey ?

Honestly I would say go to a salon & get them to strip the colour for you.

Also, guys can get away with grey- silver foxes are hot!!

Shave it all off and let it grow back its natural colour

I feel your pain....I dyed my hair back last year and wanted it the pretty much the same as my natural colour.

Didn't realise that natural golden dark brown would be more orange / red

Only ways I know of are either growing it out naturally which takes a while or getting the colour stripped out.

Same think happened to my dad years back, his went an orange/pink colour. Tried all sorts to get is back but it only got worse, people were calling him Lilly the Pink Finally just bleached it, which turned him blonde, then a week later put dark brown dye on but only left it half the time, resulting in a blonde/grey streak look in his natural hair colour.

Wash your hair in head and shoulders that seems to take a lot of the colour out. My daughter swears by it and she colours her hair every colour of the rainbow.

colour b4 from superdrug might help but to be honest your best bet is to go to.a salon for correction as you may just make it worse

Grey looks fine on most men BTW! I think you'd best get a professional to help so as not to get in deeper!! Most will say 'You can't do anything for 4-6 weeks' but that's bull, and eventually you'll find someone to say ''No problem' and just recolours it with something more appropriate!! Good luck!

Now i will sound thick, but several of you have mentioned bleaching, how do i do this ? is it simply by using bleach instead of shampoo ?

I recommend you go to a salon or shave it off!

Haha, yup, I recommend you book the taxi to A&E before starting......

NOO, we are talking about a peroxide based hair colour, but without knowing what you are doing you are highly likely to select the wrong colour again!! Anything too 'warm', goldy blonds etc are liable to go orange on some types of hair. Right now you just need something bland to correct the earlier mistake. I'm sure there are mens salons that deal with colouring hair all the time.

NO don't bleach. Go to a salon and they'll strip the colour for you. Have a trim then leave well alone. Men with grey hair look distinguished
